Canadian boys in grade 10 are more likely than grade 10 girls are to drink beer every week.
In 2014, 4% of Canadian girls in Grade 10 and 19% of Canadian boys in Grade ten reported that they drank beer at least once a week.
The proportion of both girls and boys who drank beer at least once a week declined between 1990 and 2014. In 1990 the proportion of girls who drank beer at least once a week was 19% and for boys it was 30%.
