Between 81%-88% of boys and 72%-85% of girls in Grades 6 through 10 reported that they had engaged in at least four hours of outdoor play in in the past week during their free time.
Boys were more likely to participate in outdoor play than were girls.
The percentage of both boys and girls who participated in outdoor play declined with advancing grades.
