In Canada in 2015/2016, 31% of girls and 29% of boys aged 12 to 17 years ate fruits and vegetables at least 5 times a day.
Fruit and vegetable consumption varied by province and territory.
In Quebec, 44% of girls and 42% of boys ate fruits and vegetables at least 5 times a day.
That percentage was 19% for boys and 17% for girls in the Northwest Territories.
