According to their primary caregivers, 37% of First Nations children aged 0 to 11 years living in First Nations communities required restorative dental care in 2008/2010.

65% required maintenance care, such as checkups or cleaning.

11% reuired extractions, 23% required fluoride treatment, 5% required orthodontics and 3% had urgent care needs.
