In 2006/2007 in Canada, two-thirds of mothers were “very satisfied” with the postpartum health care they had received.
This varied by province and territory – from 85% in the Yukon and 75% in Nova Scotia to 57% in Québec and 44% in Nunavut.
Almost three-quarters of women were “very satisfied” with the health care their babies had received since birth. This ranged from 63% in the Northwest Territories and 62% in Nunavut to 86% in the Yukon and 83% in New Brunswick.
