Almost three-quarters (73%) of women reported that their postpartum health was excellent or very good in 2006/07.

That proportion varied by province and territory – with 83% reporting this in Prince Edward Island, 81% doing so in Newfoundland & Labrador, and only 54% reporting this in Nunavut and 70% in Québec and the Northwest Territories.
