In 2012, 79% of men who had at least one child under age 5, and worked full time, were satisfied or very satisfied with their work life balance.
The proportion was less for women – at 74%.
Men and women who had older children (5 to 17)* were less likely to say they were satisfied or very satisfied – 75% and 68% respectively.1
