According to the Aboriginal Peoples Survey (2006), the Inuit population 15 to 19 years of age reported more difficulty obtaining health care (12%); higher than the Métis (9%) and First Nations populations living off-reserve (11%).

Survey data do not include First Nations children living on reserve. This may result in undercounting of children with inequities in access in some provinces/territories.
